For this detail, we perform an extremely intensive exterior cleaning and decontamination of paint, glass and trim. Followed by a 2-3 stage paint correction of all painted surfaces

We then apply a 2 Year genuine SIO2 ceramic coating from GYEON, an industry leading coating and detailing product manufacturer, designed to bond to clear coat on paint surfaces. This high performance coating exhibits a number of impressive properties. You also have the option to coat trim, wheels, tires and glass for complete ceramic vehicle protection.

What exactly is a Genuine SI02 Ceramic Coating?

These coatings consist of a couple primary components:

  • Silicon Dioxide(SI02); Achieves incredible hardness of 9H and is extremely durable. Most coatings are made up of 80%-90% of this solid content

  • Titanium Dioxide(Ti02); regulates opacity and helps protect the substrate from harmful UV rays while providing covering power, brightness and durability of colour that cannot be achieved with any other raw material

These almost magical components come together to form a truly cutting edge, advanced and proven technology we call; ceramic coatings (also know as glass coating) that are extraordinarily hard, durable, hydrophobic and resistant to very acidic and alkaline chemicals.

After a thorough 3 stage paint correction, applying this technology to the surfaces of your vehicle provide an absolutely stunning layer of protection to your paint and clear coat, exhibiting many properties not found in any known waxes, sealants or dressings. These properties include scratch resistance, hydrophobicity, gloss, hardness, slickness and reflection, amongst other things

Will the Ceramic Products Change the Color or Touch/Feel of my Exterior Surfaces?

Absolutely. Gaze in awe at the incredible shine, gloss and reflection. Feel the slickness of the paint as well as the new richness and deepening of the color. As far as the optional coating for trim, rubber and wheels, you will definitely notice these materials are completely rejuvenated back to their original deep dark appearance and texture.

How Long Will This Detail Take to Complete?

You can expect us to work on the vehicle for about 1-2 days (depending on the vehicle size, condition and choice of coating) before completing the detail.

Expect a lifespan of 2 years (With regular maintenance and standard use conditions) To ensure this, we offer a free, complementary detail at the 6 month point to clean and rejuvenate the coating. A comprehensive warranty is also included to ensure the promised performance

Is a Warranty Included?

Yes, a warranty is included with this package. This warranty is offered directly from us (//Obsidian Details). Although the coating manufacturer offers a warranty aswell, these companies hardly ever honor them, so we bypass them and take matters in our own hands so we can do our best to make the situation right oursleves. If any distinct failure of the coating occurs, within the warranty’s reasonable parameters, we will honor the warranty and reapply the coating to ensure high performance for the rest of the coating’s expected lifespan.
